Embrace your spontaneous side–without relying on a pill.

If you’re experiencing frustration due to erectile dysfunction, then you’ve come to the right place. We offer non-invasive therapies that will enhance your performance and improve your erections so you can reactivate the excitement you felt when you were young.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is most often caused by an underlying, undiagnosed health condition. At ReYouvenate, we will assess the root cause so the symptom doesn’t persist (and your performance will continue to improve). The good news is, there are modern and innovative therapies that can address ED with little to no discomfort and without needing to rely on a pill!

Dr. Fortin will begin by assessing the degree of your ED before recommending a customized regenerative protocol that will provide optimal benefits. We use the following technologies…

  • GAINSWave™ uses a low-intensity sound wave that causes new blood vessels and new nerve endings to grow. This process improves circulation so you can achieve and maintain an erection and may increase sensitivity. Following GAINSWave™, your blood flow improves, which results in erections and improved sexual performance! This process is painless and only requires a short office visit with no downtime.
  • Performance-Enhancing PRP injections restore healthy tissue and optimize the functionality of erectile tissues. We use lidocaine to numb the area before the procedure so it’s as comfortable as possible. The long term benefits include cellular repair and newer, healthier tissues.

Erectile Dysfunction Q & A

When should I be concerned about erectile dysfunction?

It’s time to talk with your doctor about sexual dysfunction if you’re unable to sustain an erection that’s suitable for sexual intercourse on a regular basis or if you note difficulty with lubrication, sensation, or climax. Schedule a consultation if your sexual dysfunction is:

  • Negatively affecting your relationship
  • Causing depression or anxiety
  • Becoming more and more frequent
  • Associated with pain in your genitals

What causes erectile dysfunction?

Occasional difficulty maintaining an erection or experiencing periodic signs of female sexual dysfunction probably isn’t cause for concern. But if you frequently have problems, it could be a warning sign of an underlying health issue. Sexual dysfunction can be a side effect of:

  • Diabetes
  • Kidney disease
  • Nervous system disorders
  • Atherosclerosis
  • High blood pressure

It’s also possible that prescription medications are contributing to sexual dysfunction. Let Dr. Fortin know about any medications you take, even over-the-counter varieties and dietary supplements.

Which erectile dysfunction treatment is best?

The best type of sexual dysfunction treatment depends on you and your needs. Dr. Fortin specializes in drug-free approaches to erectile dysfunction and female sexual dysfunction treatment through acoustic sound wave technology.

GAINSWave™ delivers low-intensity acoustic soundwaves, causing new blood vessels to grow and removing plaque in pre-existing blood vessels. As the blood vessels in your genitals start getting stronger, your blood flow improves, and you can have higher quality erections and improved sexual performance. The treatment stimulates growth factors and stem cells as well neurogenesis (nerve growth). Many patients report increased sensitivity and more intense orgasms.

The entire process is painless and only requires a short office visit at ReYouvenate.

Will I need more than one acoustic treatment for erectile dysfunction?

Possibly. You should start noticing the benefit of a treatment in as little as one to two months. Because the procedure helps develop new cells and tissues to promote healing, it can take even longer for you to notice optimal benefits, closer to 3-6 months following your final session. Dr. Fortin lets you know what to expect and how many treatments you need.

Dr. Fortin recommends 6 to 12 treatments to notice a significant improvement.

Before spending another day struggling with sexual dysfunction, make an appointment at ReYouvenate. You can use the office’s convenient online booking system to schedule or call during business hours.

Performance Enhancement PRP shot: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Performance Enhancement PRP shot?

A revolutionary procedure in regenerative medicine that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to restore healthy tissue and optimize functioning of the erectile tissues. About 60 ml of blood is drawn and processed to extract the PRP. After numbing, the PRP is injected into various areas. The whole process takes about an hour, but the actual injections take about 5 minutes.

What kind of results will I see?

That depends on what you are getting the performance enhancement PRP shot for. For Peyronie’s disease, where scar tissue is disrupting the structure of the penis causing painful bent erections, the PRP injection helps break up the fibrous scar tissue and replace it with more normal tissue. For erectile dysfunction/female sexual dysfunction, the PRP injection can help restore normal erections/clitoral blood flow by concentrating growth factors and encouraging new blood vessel formation in the penis or clitoral tissue. Ultimately, results vary from person to person and are also determined by compliance with adjunct recommendations.

How long will it take to see results?

Results can take up to 12 weeks to take effect, though they may be quicker with repeated injections.

Do I need to get the Performance Enhancement PRP shot more than once?

The Performance Enhancement PRP shot can be a standalone treatment, however, results are seen with each subsequent treatment. Since your own PRP is used, there is no limit to the number of PRP injections you can receive. Ask us about combining this therapy with acoustic sound wave therapy for optimal results.

Is the Performance Enhancement PRP shot painful?

The PRP injection is not without minimal discomfort, however, we use lidocaine local anesthesia before doing any injection to minimize the discomfort.

Will the Performance Enhancement PRP shot cause any damage?

Since your own PRP is used, there is no risk of an immune response from the injections. Occasionally, minor bruising at the injection site may be noted.

How soon after the procedure can I get back to sexual activity?

Within 24 hours, you should be ready to resume all normal sexual function.
